Business environment requires personnel who are able to work with computers, hence, computer literacy is fundamental. A number of business tasks requires staff members to be proficient in word processing and Internet. The purpose of this qualification is to introduced candidates to end-user computing skills.
These qualifications are accredited by the Media, Information, and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) which is a public entity established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act No. 97 of 1998).
